Other Details to Note

Cozy Cabin, Perfect for 2: Grizzly Cabin is a charming 507-square-foot retreat, offering just the right balance of space and intimacy. It’s not a sprawling mansion, but it’s not a tiny house either—making it ideal for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and creatives like artists and writers who need a cozy sanctuary. Air Conditioning: To keep you comfortable, we provide a portable air conditioner in the mud room. While it does a great job keeping the cabin cool, please note that during particularly hot spells, it may have a little trouble keeping up—but it’s usually more than adequate to enjoy your stay! Neighborhood

Our cabin is situated on a small hill in a wooded setting on 1.7 acres in the town of Intervale. This is a quiet and private setting in the woods. At night you can hear the East branch of the Saco river, which is about a 5-minute walk down the road. You can see our neighbor's house across the street, and if it is winter you might be able to see another house through the woods. It is quiet, private, and peaceful without being too remote. The 1.7 acres gives you plenty of breathing room and space from others. Our cabin is close to many hiking trails, ski areas, shopping, dining, and mountain biking trails. It's a 5-minute walk or 1-minute drive to the river, where you can bring your camp chair and relax.

Guest Access

Guests can use the entire cabin. The basement is locked for storage. Guests are not permitted in the basement area.

This stay was the perfect home base to do some hiking in the white mountains. It was clean, cute, and cozy. We enjoyed sitting on the deck everyday. This spot was close to trails as well as restaurants and shopping. We loved getting sunrise shack for breakfast! Definitely recommend .

Mike’s cabin is cozy and comfortable. We are average size adults. People taller than 6feet or over weight would not feel, I think, as comfortable. The sleeping loft’s head space is minimal, with s as low roof and a high bed. Access to the lift is by a narrow, tight spiral staircase. So I just thought larger people might want to know that. For us, it was cozy. Also, we’re very sensitive to fragrances and wanted to let everyone know that this cabin smells like a clean house. That’s it. No fragrances or chemical smells. We were so glad for that. Mine was responsive and helpful while we were there. I recommend this place!
